Former Manchester footballer, David Beckham spends the day at ‘Campus El Segundo’ athletic fields playing football on July 11, 2009. David was spotted flirting with some girls holdng one back during a play and has his eye on another.
On the other news, David Beckham responds to book critism for upcoming book ‘The Beckham Experiment’ written by Grant Wahl. Landon Donovan called Beckham a bad captain and portrayed him as stingy on the book which got Beckham really upset.
He told Associated Press early today that hus Los Angeles Galaxy teammate Landon Donvan was ‘unprofessional’ for speaking out without confronting him in the first place.
David quoted
“It’s unprofessional in my eyes. In every soccer player’s eyes throughout the world it would be unprofessional to speak out about a teammate especially in the press and not to your face,” Beckham said.
“But I’m going to turn it on a positive spin because that’s what this needs. But in 17 years, I have played with the biggest teams in the world and the biggest players and not once have I been criticized for my professionalism. It’s important to get this cleared up and I will be speaking to Landon either this evening or over the next couple of days.”
So will he be reading the book?
“No,” Beckham said. “This is an unofficial book that I have not participated in. I haven’t sat down one to one or spoken about the book, so there is not comment where I have sat down with the journalist and gone through. There are many unofficial books that have been published about me, so this is just another one on the shelf.”
Wahl’s book is due out on July 14.

He’s ugly and he hates Americans and he’s only here to make money. He doesn’t respect the game in America. With twits like you that worship people that piss all over you he doesn’t have anything to worry about – he’s laughing all the way to the bank. He’s nothing but a mercenary fame whore and money whore. I’ve got news for you – he’s not even that good of a player.

Hi Lia,
I understand your point of you on Beckham, he used to be on Manchester team a few years ago but then he has an affair with another woman, Rebecca which drags his reputation all the way down the drain. Now he’s back in LA, not many people like him like usual.

Firstly: ‘He’s ugly and he hates Americans’ is a very immature response. He is not ugly by any standards and even if he was, stating such a thing makes you as horrible as you claim him to be.
Secondly: He’s actually a very nice person which is completely evident in the many interviews he has done. His life first and foremost revolves around his family. Football has been a passion of his since being young and if he wasn’t talented he wouldn’t be where he is now. He spends a great deal of time with his fans (even when ill) and is grateful for them. Finally; who can blame him for cashing in on his looks to provide a financially comfortable life for his wife and children. And he and Victoria also do a lot for charity. So before you judge I suggest you put yourself in his position or find out more about him!
