Country-pop superstar Taylor Swift will be performing at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, she will performinf a brand-new version of “You Belong With Me,” a single from her Billboard-topping Fearless.

“I’m so excited that MTV and the VMAs have invited me to perform, because I think this year’s show will be unlike anything they’ve ever done!” Swift said. “I love incorporating theatrics into my performances, and the VMAs have always allowed artists to run with that. MTV has been so good to me, and I could not be more excited about this year’s VMAs!”

David Arquette and Courteney Cox have officially signed on to reunite with the Ghostface killer.

“We are going to be doing Scream 4,” Arquette just told me from New York City, where he’s hanging out in plastic box over Madison Square Garden for Feeding America (more on that later). “Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct.”

Rumors began several months ago that the two were in talks for the fourth installment.

“I fell in love with my wife on Scream, so the opportunity to bring [Dewey] back to life and for my wife to play that really bitchy character again, it’s just going to be really fun,” Arquette said. “It’s just great.”

Williamson recently revealed that Neve Campbell has turned down the chance to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott, Arquette said, “I hope Neve does it. I really hope so.”.”

Sad news for Jessica Simpson, 29, has ended her relationship with her beau, Tony Romo, 29 who is an American football quarterback, plays for the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. Romo has recently called it quit with Simpson, reported People.com.

The saddest part is she is soo into Tony for the last few months and loves him deeply. But the couple have different career paths and they are busy with their schedule as Romo is busy with his NFL while Simpson is about to shoot her new show, ‘The Prince of Beauty’. That’s how they ended up seperated.

Recent reports claimed for the split is they spotted Romos partied with his quaterback friends at the MyHouse hotspot without his girlfriend, Jessica Simpson. This is the second break up attempt for the couple since they began dating in 2007.

Romos has ditched Jessica last May, but in the end he wants to patch things up with Jessica on Simpson’s sister, Ashlee Simpson wedding day. Everything seems to work out fine. Romo fans has labelled Simpson as ‘Yoko Romo’ as allegedly claimed Simpson is a ‘bad luck’ to Romo’s performance in NFL. What kind of fans would judge a person when they don’t even know her?

Simpson has planned to have a Barbie and Ken-themed birthday pary for July 10, but ends up disappointment.

She wrote on her twitter,

“Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!”

It seems obviously that Romo has left Simpson heartbroken not only once, but twice! Who says single women can’t live without their beau, they are as much positive as they are!
